The Best Day Of My Life!

Ok so I'm totally aware that this is not in order with the rest of my blog, but it's just gonna have to do! This is my wedding day, aka the best day of my life! Zach and I got married on June 12, 2009 in the Draper temple! It was so beautiful! I loved every second of it. I felt like the day just ran right away from me though. It went by so fast. Some times I wish I could go back and do it all again. So here are a few pictures from the day.

This is one of my bridal pictures if you couldn't tell!
Outside the temple after the ceremony.
My Family at the reception center.

Haircuts and Concerts.....

Notice anything different about us?.............You guessed it! Zach got a haircut!!! Oh...and Erika too.....So Zach's parents gave us tickets to a Lonestar concert as part of our wedding present. They were really really good. They have a new lead singer who was very entertaining. So entertaining that this granny in the next picture was having the time of her life waiting for him to touch her hand. When he finally did, she freaked out and started jumping up and down and giggling with all the teenage girls around her. All 8000 people were anxiously waiting the glorious moment and when it finally happened, the crowd screamed louder than when the band actually started playing...

The concert was great, except for sitting right next to Erika was a fifty-something lady wearing a denim vest, mid-back length permed hair, a straw cowboy hat, lots of silly jewlery, and LOADS OF THE WORST SMELLING CHEAP PERFUME KNOWN TO MAN!!!!!!! By the time the opening act had ended, Zach politely switched Erika seats, but when the concert was over, we couldn't tell where our headaches were from, the noise, or the perfume. She was a very silly dancer, kind of reminded us of a fourteen year old girl dancing to the radio when she thinks nobody is watching.

New singer, funky bassist dude, keytar dude.

Fun in the kitchen with the Barneys!!!!

Welcome to the house of Erika and Zach Barney...

We were making Strawberry Daiquiris and
the blender fell over and broke....Zach was not done pouring his drink, so he stuck his straw into the broken blender and enjoyed his fruit-n-glass treat!

Erika was trying her very best (and succeeding) to look like a Grandma showing off her cooking!

Do Porcupines Live In Utah?

So, Zach and I were driving home from my mom's house in Alpine today when we ran into our new little friend. It came to us as such a surprise because we didn't think he lived in Utah. He was rather nice in the state he was...dead. Had he been alive we probably couldn't have got a picture with him. I know it probably doesn't beat Jess and Dev's spider, but i think it's a pretty close second!

Yay! We have a blog!

It only took me this long to get a blog started! I guess now that I'm married it would be a good thing to do, that and everyone is doing it! Ok well, I don't really know how this whole world of blog works. What do I write? Not sure so i guess since this is the first little entry I should just give you all a brief run down.

Zach and I got married 6 weeks ago! Yes, our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Do you like how I'm speaking for the both of us. Ha ha! I have asked him a few time what the best day of his life was and each time he said it was the day we got married! We are currently living 7 houses awat from his parents in a little basement apartment. It's perfect for us. We love it. The only thing we don't love is all the spiders. The other night while i was getting ready for bed, I pulled off the decorative pillow to find a reddish orangeish spider already sleeping on my pillow. Yes, after that i looked through all our sheets to make sure none of his frends would be sleeping with us that night!

Our washer and dryer are very noisy and we don't have the fronts of our drawers done yet. Our carpet looks like blue office carpet, but like I said we love it.

Right now Zach is working for Beneficial Finacial Group. He is doing an awesome job. He is the hardest worker. Secretly I alway wanted a husband that had to dress up for work, and I got it. He is also still working at Chili's in American Fork just for the next little while till he really gets on his feet with Beneficial. He was called to be the sunday school teacher for the 12 and 13 year olds and he is doing an incredible job with it.

I'm working at Valley OB & GYN as an MA right now. It's great to work with healthy women. I love it. The doctors there are great! I'm learning so much every day. The only problem with the job, is when women come in with the cute newborn babies for there 6 week check ups, I get SO baby hungry! This past year Wendi sold the studio to Avondale Academy. It's still Dance Makers Studio, but we will be holding our practices there! I'm very excited about the upcoming year!

Well, I guess that is all for now. I'm going to try to figure out how to put some pictures on here I guess!
